Sometimes the smallest conversation can become the most important moment of someone’s week.
For many older people living with dementia, everyday life can become increasingly isolating, confusing, and overwhelming.
But no one should face dementia alone.
Across Croydon, Age UK Croydon’s Memory Tree Cafés provide welcoming, dementia-friendly spaces where people living with dementia and their carers can come together, socialise, enjoy activities, and find support in a safe and understanding environment.
Through music, games, singing, conversation, arts and crafts, and shared experiences, these cafés help people reconnect, build confidence, reduce loneliness, and create moments of joy and familiarity.
Today, we’re asking for your support.
We are aiming to raise £2,500 in 100 days - that’s just £25 per day - to help Age UK Croydon continue supporting local dementia cafés across the borough.
Your donation could help fund:
- Dementia-friendly café sessions
- Music, activities and wellbeing resources
- Support for carers and families for older people living with dementia
Every donation helps someone feel connected, supported.
